SUMMARY:

SALARY:  $150,000 – $250,000

Our client is a rapidly-growing durable goods manufacturer located in the Fort Wayne, IN area.  They are looking for an experienced CFO with a strong background in high-level accounting and finance in a capital-intense manufacturing environment. 

We are looking for a manufacturing background with specific expertise in the financial aspects of inventory management, cost allocation, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, bank covenants, bank negotiation, finance leveraging, financial strategies, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting and finance activities of the company.
  • Develops finance strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to the company’s strategic direction
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, accurate bills of materials, and ensure variances are analyzed and solved.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, and lead the overall enterprise planning process.
  • Cash Management.
  • Manage banking relationships and covenants.
  • Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related area,  CPA or CMA strongly desired
  • 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 5 years as CFO or top Accounting and Finance executive for a small or medium sized growth company with proven cash-management skills during a steep growth curve 
  • 7 years of controller and CFO experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, bill of materials, inventory management and valuation, variance analysis and enterprise resources planning. 
  • Very strong strategic financial planning, budgeting and forecasting skills. 
  • Experience with financing, due diligence, and merging acquisitions into operations, optimizing financial synergies.
  • Managing bank relationships, covenants, etc.
