Technical Service and Support Manager


SUMMARY In this role, you would be the key technical resource and problem solver  working closely with customers, sales, engineering and operations.  Your Primary responsibility is to support our clients in troubleshooting, obtaining replacement parts, eliminating product problems, creating estimates for repairs or replacements, and to schedule service appointments and installations.

Our client is a small equipment company that builds and services custom equipment.  They are a team-based company with very friendly and self-directed atmosphere.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers, sales and internal operations to ensure that any problems are promptly resolved and that new products are developed to meet their needs.
  • Help customers troubleshoot and solve product issues through troubleshooting or replacement parts. 
  • Follow through on any customer concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Create estimates/quotes for installation and repair.
  • Advise customers regarding equipment, industry practice and analytical procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Well rounded mechanical ability to be able to troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
  • Extremely strong communication skills both verbally and in writing for estimate preparation as well as customer interface.
  • Prior customer interface and a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Very well organized.  
  • Strong work ethic, high ethical standards, and looking for a “grab the bull by the horns and take charge” type of person that will do their job without a lot of oversight.
